1. Our commitment
Kivix Commerce OÜ complies with the restrictive measures (sanctions) of the European Union, which apply to us as an Estonian company, with the Estonian International Sanctions Act, and with United Nations Security Council sanctions. We also respect the sanctions of the United States (OFAC) and the United Kingdom (OFSI) where they apply to our transactions, payment providers or carriers.
2. Restricted countries and regions
We do not sell, ship or provide services to customers, partners or suppliers located in:
- Russia
- Belarus
- Iran
- North Korea (DPRK)
- Cuba
- The temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine: Crimea and Sevastopol, and the non-government-controlled areas of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions
This list may change as sanctions regimes change. We may also restrict other destinations when required by law or by our payment providers and carriers.
3. Restricted persons and entities
We do not do business with persons or entities listed under EU, UN, US (OFAC SDN) or UK sanctions, or with companies owned or controlled by them. We may screen customers, partners and suppliers against these lists.
4. Restricted goods
We do not sell goods that are subject to export controls, such as dual-use items under Regulation (EU) 2021/821, or goods whose export to a destination is prohibited by sanctions.
5. Orders and payments
- We may cancel or hold any order, request additional information, or refuse a transaction if we suspect a sanctions risk.
- Using freight forwarders, reshipping services or false addresses to send goods to restricted destinations is prohibited.
- Where the law allows, we refund cancelled orders. Where funds must be frozen or reported under sanctions law, we act as the law requires.
6. Partners, makers and suppliers
Everyone who works with us must comply with this policy, confirm that they are not subject to sanctions, and inform us immediately if this changes.
